Mr. Robinson’s appointment will enable YK Law’s clients to tap into the vast potential and opportunity of the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region. YK Law’s Latin America and Caribbean Practice is based in Panama City, Panamá, which is recognized globally as the logistics and commercial hub for excellence of The Americas and the destination of choice for multinationals investing in the LAC region. In addition to advising on direct investments into Latin America and the Caribbean, YK Law’s physical presence in the LAC region will position the firm to capitalize on the unique strengths of the “Yingke Global Legal Service Alliance” in China to win revenue generating opportunities for clients seeking to capitalize on Panama’s unique position as the nexus between Latin America and Asia.

Mr. Robinson’s expertise spans commercial transactional, regulatory, and IP practices and is based in the Republic of Panama an regularly shuttles between Belize, Guatemala, Miami, and Spain, in addition to possessing a rich network of strategic partnerships throughout the LATAM region. Formerly with Greenberg Traurig LLP in the Federal Regulatory & Administrative Law Practice Group, Mr. Robinson advises clients on the regulatory requirements and strategic corporate considerations that affect the importation, exportation, and distribution of consumer-packaged goods, including advice regarding the laws and regulations that govern advertising materials and related efforts to generate sales in the USA Latin America. Mr. Robinson is a dual citizen of the Republic of Panama and the US. He speaks Spanish with native fluency and Portuguese with professional fluency.
